Application and Registration Process
The Vortex Softball limits the number of players at each clinic, the number of players at each position and the age group of the players for each clinic. The acceptance guidelines are listed on each clinics’ information page as well as the number of available openings at each position.
The Vortex Softball accepts all players on a first-come, first-served basis as long as they meet the acceptance criteria (age and availability).
There are two ways to register for a Vortex Softball clinic:
- “Apply Directly” and receive a confirming email invitation from the Vortex Softball.
- “Be Invited” by a high school/college coach or the Vortex Softball and receive a confirming email invitation from the Vortex Softball.
Before you can register for a specific clinic you need to have an “Account” in our system.
- If you “Apply Directly” you will need to go to “Player Login” and click on “Create an Account” and complete the on-line application profile.
- Under the “Be Invited” approach an account will have automatically been created for you, but you will still need to add required information in the on-line application profile.
Once you have successfully completed the on-line profile you can select a clinic that you’d like to attend.
- If you “Apply Directly” you will have to select at least one clinic in order to proceed.
- Under the “Be Invited” approach at least one clinic will have already been selected for you but you will be able to select additional clinics at any time.
Once you have selected a clinic you must click the “Register & Pay” button on your main page before you can register and pay the registration fee on-line. When you click on the “Register” button our system will re-verify position availability. If positions are still available you’ll be able to register. If positions are not available you’ll be presented with options and instructions for what to do next.

Once you have agreed to the terms and conditions, you will be transferred to our secure credit card payment processing system. We accept MasterCard and Visa. If you’d prefer to pay by check please print a copy of the Terms & Conditions; sign and date this to indicate your acceptance and send a check with the appropriate amount to the address shown below.

About 7-10 days before each event, you will receive information via email, concerning where and when to check in and other event logistic information.
