Accepting An Invitation from A Coach or the Vortex Softball

If a college or high school coach invited you and you received an email from us that says you were invited by a coach, then our system has already created an account for you.

If you have created an account on your own then follow the instructions in the email to login to your account.

1. When you login to your account you’ll see a message “Congratulations You've Been Invited to An Event”
2. Please read the information on this page and then click proceed.
3. The system will display for you information we need to accept your invitation. Some of this information may have already been completed by the coach so double check to make sure he entered it correctly.
4. Enter any remaining information on this screen. It’s all required.
5. Click proceed to login to your account.
6. When you login to the system again, you’ll see a section at the top of your Main Page called “Events to Which You Have Applied”.  If the coach invited you to more than one clinic then all will be listed.
7. To the right of each clinic will two buttons.  One is to Register & Pay and the other is to Decline the invitation.
8. If you don’t want to attend a particular clinic please click the Decline button.  Our system will continue sending you automated email reminders until you either accept or decline each invitation.
9. To register for a clinic, click the Register & Pay button.
10. The system will check to see how many positions are available openings at your primary position and will display that number to you.
11. If there are no openings at your primary position the system will check the number of openings at your secondary position and display that number for you.  If there are openings at your secondary position and you still want to attend you’ll have to go back to your main page and change you primary position to the secondary position that is available, then re-click the Register button. VERY IMPORTANT: Choice of a primary position only affects the position you play during the game.  It does not restrict you in any way from choosing clinic sessions or workout sessions.  
12. When the system determines there are openings at your primary position it will display the terms and conditions for registering you must agree to in order to register.
13. Follow instructions to confirm your acceptance of the terms and conditions.
14.  Once you have accepted the T’s and C’s you will be transferred to our secure credit card payment subsystem.  We accept MasterCard or Visa charge cards.
15. Make sure you enter the name of the card holder (not the player's name)
16. Make sure the address (which is entere automatically comes from the player's main page) is the billing address for the credit card. 
17. If you have difficulty with the credit card system or if you card is rejected please call Ken Hill at 508-545-2660. He also can help you if you prefer to pay by check.
