Apply Directly
If you receive a flyer or a letter, if you heard about us from a friend or ad, or if you just found us by searching the internet you’ll need to create an account and select a clinic(s) you’d like to attend.
- Click on the “Clinic Dates” or “Clinic Locations” link in the left hand panel on our website home page to get to a list of clinics by date or by state.
- Click on the clinic to which you’d like to apply to get to the “Clinic Event Page”.
- Check to see how many openings are available at your primary position. If there are no listings, we still have openings at all positions. The openings list is usually generated 4-5 weeks before the event.
- Also, check the “Clinic Event Page” to confirm this clinic is accepting players with your year of graduation. Most of our clinics are open to all high school age players but we do have a few “specialty” clinics for Juniors and for “Under Classmen.”
- Last year we ran 22 clinics and 12 of them sold out.
- If there are still openings at your primary position and the clinic is accepting players with your YOG you’ll need to create an account and apply.
- Click on the "Players Login" tab at the top of the website.
- Create a New Login Account by clicking on the link
- Your email address serves as your user ID and must be unique!
- The key to everything is your email address!! Enter it carefully.
- Make sure you use an email that you check regularly, as this is our exclusive method of communicating with you.
- Make sure you add top96.com and tpstop96.com to your "safe sender’s list" or your "whitelist domains" or you will miss out on very important communication from us.
- If your email address changes, please update your record.
- Once you create your account, a confirmation eMail will be sent to you. If you do not receive this email within 10 minutes, there might be a problem so please call Ken Hill at 508-545-2660 right away.
- After you create your account, you will be logged into the system.
- Please enter all of the information on the first screen, it’s all required.
- Follow the on-screen instructions. Please, enter the required information carefully.
- Once you have entered the required information, click Submit.
- The next screen will be a list of Vortex Softball events being held around the country
- Click on the event(s) you’d like to attend.
- The system will go out and do a search to verify there is an opening at your primary position.
- It will return with three options for you.
- Option 1: There is an opening in this event at your primary position
- Option 2. There is not an opening at his event at your primary position but there is at your secondary position
- Option 3. There is not an opening at his event at your primary position and you need to change your primary position if you want to attend this event or choose another event.
- Once the system confirms the position is available you will be asked to “click on REGISTER ” and then you will have to pay immediately with a credit card. The system will hold your spot for approximately 3 minutes, then release your spot, if it is not paid.
- If you do not pay immediately, you still have an invitation in the system, but when you log back in and and click the “REGISTER” button you may find that there are no more positions available.
- Once you have accepted the T’s and C’s you will be transferred to our secure credit card payment subsystem. We accept MasterCard or Visa charge cards.
- Make sure you enter the name of the card holder (not your player's name).
- Make sure the address entered (which automatically comes from your player’s main page) is the billing address for the credit card.
- If you have difficulty with the credit card system or if your card is rejected please call Ken Hill at 508-545-2660. He also can help you if you prefer to pay by check.
